With the 19th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, what position will the Carolina Panthers target?
This is the question of the day and one we want to pose to you, our loyal readers. The Panthers have been linked to a wide number of players with the 19th overall pick at a wide number of positions. We all have our favorites, from Oregon Safety Dillon Thieneman to Oregon Tight End Kenyon Sadiq. There are even a few of y’all pounding the drum for wide receivers like Omar Cooper Jr. and KC Concepcion.
But today we aren’t asking who you want the Panthers to take. We’re asking who you think they are going to take at 19.
They’ve taken two wide receivers in a row in the first round. Do we really think they’re going for the hat trick?
They’ve devalued the free safety position for the past three years under Ejiro Evero, tending towards more physical guys that traditionally play strong safety (look at their investments in Tre’Von Moehrig and Lathan Ransom compared to the after-thought contract that Nick Scott got). Do we really think they’re going to dump a first round pick on a free safety now?
They have a bunch of one-year contracts all over the offensive line all of a sudden. Shouldn’t they be looking at getting a young, starter-quality lineman at any position under a cheap contract for the next five years?
Let us know what you think they are going to do and then sound off in the comments below to tell us why.
The Panthers are considering multiple positions for their 19th pick, including safety, tight end, and wide receiver.
Top prospects linked to the Panthers include safety Dillon Thieneman, tight end Kenyon Sadiq, and wide receivers Omar Cooper Jr. and KC Concepcion.
The 19th pick is crucial as it allows the Panthers to address key roster needs and potentially secure a game-changing player.
