"#Colts HC Shane Steichen spoke to #Celtics president Brad Stevens about Jayson Tatumâs Achilles recovery. Tatum and Daniel Jones both got surgery from Dr. Martin OâMalley," Colts insider James Boyd of The Athletic posted on X. "'(Tatum) was in that building all day every day and Danielâs the same way.'"
Jones suffered a torn Achilles in December during Indianapolis' Week 14 contest vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"I think he's four and a half months post-op. His rehab process has been phenomenal," Steichen said of Jones. "He went to the same doctor that Tatum went to, Tatum is rolling right now for the Celtics. I had the chance to talk to Brad Stevens, and his rehab process that Tatum went through, he was in that building all day, every day."
The Celtics host the 76ers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series on Tuesday night.
