The NFL has announced three Christmas games for 2026, featuring playoff rematches. This continues the league's tradition of multiple games on Christmas, which began in 2021.
There's no reason to have the stockings up by the fireplace just yet, but the NFL has already prepared its gifts for football fans: three more Christmas games in 2026.
The 2026 NFL schedule release revealed the six teams that will be competing on Christmas for a Week 16 game, and all three Yuletide games feature playoff rematches.
The league did not begin its tradition of playing multiple games on Christmas annually until 2021, but it didn't take long for the NFL to boost the volume. In 2022, 2023 and 2025, there were three games on the annual holiday. Football fans are getting another triple-header in 2026, in addition to a "Thursday Night Football" game on Christmas Eve.

First up, the Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers just over 11 months after the Bears took down the Packers at Soldier Field in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs. Next up, the Denver Broncos are set to host the Buffalo Bills in a rematch of their divisional round matchup in the AFC last year.
Finally, the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will meet at Lumen Field in Seattle for another clash between NFC West titans. The two teams competed in last year's NFC championship, which the Seahawks won before going on to win Super Bowl 60.
