The Cincinnati Bengals are going international in 2026.
NFL Network revealed on Tuesday that the Bengals will play the Atlanta Falcons on November 8 in Madrid, Spain.
A cross-conference showdown, the Bengals and Falcons will play in Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid, airing on NFL Network.
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow provided a comment on the big reveal.
"The game has a lot of room to grow. Just like basketball did in the '80s and '90s," Burrow said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. "The Bulls kind of spearheaded that. Made it global, and hopefully the Bengals can do the same thing over the next couple of years for the NFL."
The reveal marks the first time in the Burrow era the Bengals will play an international game. Back in 2025, Burrow had really been campaigning for a game in Madrid. Now he gets it.
This announcement was one of many slow rollouts by the NFL in the days leading up to the full NFL schedule release on Thursday.
