According to tennis journalist Michal Samulski, Alexander Zverev is expected to take part in the Stuttgart Open title later this year.
Zverev has been joined by Nick Kyrgios, Taylor Fritz, Matteo Berrettini, Jan-Lennard Struff, Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul and Justin Engel according to Samulskiās report on X [formerly Twitter].
Fritz enters as the defending champion after beating Zverev in last yearās final.
Following his 3-6, 6-7 defeat to Fritz in the 2025 final, Zverev joked about being ātiredā of facing the American.
āIām tired of you, I donāt want to see you over the next two or three years ā stay away from me,ā Zverev said during the post-match ceremony.
Fritz didnāt drop serve once during the tournament and was clearly pleased with his performance in Germany.
āIām really happy, especially as it was not too great of a clay season,ā Fritz said.
