When asked if he’d continue arguing with umpires, a fan said: “Are you going to argue with umpires when you play? I love it.”
Kyrgios didn’t hold back in his response.
“I’m going to be as controversial as ever when I’m back,” Kyrgios replied.
“I feel great and motivated.”
The Australian played two events over the summer, taking part in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
Kyrgios hasn’t played since January. Injuries continue to slow down any real progress back onto the circuit. If he does manage three grass-court events before Wimbledon that would be an impressive step forward. Not only that but a signal of intent toward reclaiming a top spot again.
