Nick Wright picked the Boston Celtics to win the NBA Finals this year, and he's not backing down.
Wright gave the Celtics a big vote of confidence following their disastrous Game 2 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday's episode of "First Things First," putting Boston second in his NBA tiers behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder.
"Cost of Doing Business: Boston. Listen, you shoot 45 threes a game, the cost of that is sometimes you’re not gonna make them, and you’re gonna lose a game you shouldn’t," Wright said. "They're fine with it. They have the long view of it. I think the Celtics are gonna win the title."
While the Thunder are favored to win it all, the Celtics are still favored to win the East and have the second-best title odds behind OKC at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Wright is not overreacting to one bad game from Boston, nor should he. The Celtics have lost five of their last eight Game 2's at home, so it's hardly unusual for them. Bad shooting nights happen, especially for a team that takes so many 3-pointers.
Boston still has the upper hand in this series, so there's no need to panic about the Celtics just yet.
