MCHENRY — No. 3 Northern plated 11 runs in the first three innings and rolled to an 11-0 rout of Albert Gallatin, Pennsylvania, on Thursday at Garrett College.
The Huskies improved to 12-5. They've won five in a row after a three-game skid in the middle of the season.
Jacob Chambers doubled, drove in a pair and scored two runs, Hunter Livengood doubled, Landon Yoder went 2 for 4 with two ribbies and scored twice, and Bailey Turner had two knocks.
Jake Wampler was the winning arm, tossing 4 2/3 frames of one-hit shutout ball. He fanned five and walked two.
Hunter Beitzel toed the rubber for the final out.
Clay Smith took the loss for Albert Gallatin, which fell to 1-16 with the result.
Northern is at Petersburg (7-13) on Friday at 5 p.m. and No. 5 East Hardy (12-5) on Monday at 6 p.m.
Keyser 3, Elkins 1
ELKINS, W.Va. — Keyser had fewer hits than Elkins Thursday, but the Golden Tornado made the most of them.
Keyser (7-12) used two singles and a walk to load the bases with one out in the fifth in a 1-1 game. Hunter Harr worked a free pass for the go-ahead RBI, and Cole Holland followed with a sacrifice fly for a 3-1 lead.
Lucas Williamson ended with three scoreless frames to finish off his complete-game victory. The righty allowed a run on four hits in seven frames, striking out eight and walking two.
Braden Cooper was the losing arm despite five quality innings of work, surrendering three runs (two earned) on three hits.
Keyser is at Pendleton County on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Lighthouse 10, Mount Airy 5
MOUNT AIRY — Lighthouse Christian’s bats came to life with 12 hits in a victory over Mount Airy Christian on Thursday.
Lighthouse (3-7) scored the game’s first five runs and tacked on five insurance tallies over the final three frames after Mount Airy pulled within 5-3.
“I thought we played on all cylinders tonight,” Lighthouse manager Don Swogger said. “Silas Leith threw a great game. We preached trusting each other and trusting yourself all week. It was fun to see things come together.”
Leith limited Mount Airy to five runs (two earned) on eight hits in 5 2/3 frames to register as the winning arm. He struck out eight and walked two.
Jake Zewatsky threw 1 1/3 innings of shutout relief.
Hayden Kamauf led Lighthouse at the plate going 3 for 4 with a double and two runs batted in. Easton Wagner tripled and drove in a pair, Zewatsky and Sammy Scritchfield both doubled and singled, and Leith and Eli Ziler singled twice each.
Charlie Kichler was 3 for 4 with a double for Mount Airy. Carter Kichler was the losing pitcher.
Lighthouse hosts Cumberland Valley Christian on Monday at 4:30 p.m.

PHILIPPI, W.Va. — Philip Barbour southpaw Kale Wolfe struck out 13 in a one-hit win over Petersburg on Thursday.
Northern won the game against Albert Gallatin with a final score of 11-0.
Jacob Chambers and Landon Yoder were standout players, contributing significantly to the offense.
After defeating Albert Gallatin, Northern is on a five-game winning streak.
Jake Wampler pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing only one hit and striking out five batters.
