The Marquette womenâs basketball locker room keeps getting a little bit busier for the 2026-27 season. On Monday, head coach Cara Consuegra got a commitment from Noelle Anthon. Sheâs a 6â2â forward from Oconomowoc, and she has spent the past two seasons at Hutchinson Community College.
Back in her senior season for Oconomowoc, Anthon averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for the Raccoons. Thatâs not necessarily knock you over with a feather numbers, but it was enough to get Anthon scholarship offers from Division 2 teams according to WisSports.net. For whatever reason, she ended up at Hutchinson Community College for the past two campaigns. She didnât play much as a freshman, just 121 minutes across 15 games, but that turned around into a role as a starter for 35 of 36 appearances in 2025-26. Anthon averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game for the Blue Dragons as Hutchinson went 29-7 and reached the NJCAA quarterfinals before bowing out to Clarendon College. Anthon had 8/10/2/1/2 without a turnover in 30 minutes in that game, including the rare feat of making both of her three-point attempts.
How about a two minute highlight reel of Anthon in the NJCAA tournament?
And now, the new scholarship chart.
In her senior season, Noelle Anthon averaged 10.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Anthon started in 35 of 36 games in the 2025-26 season, averaging 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
Hutchinson Community College had a record of 29-7 and reached the NJCAA quarterfinals in the 2025-26 season.

No, Iâm not expecting a lot out of Noelle Anthon this season or maybe at all at Marquette. I find it hard to believe that someone who wasnât getting Division 1 offers in high school and wasnât absolutely on fire at the junior college level is going to light it up for the Golden Eagles in the Big East.
But the fact of the matter is that Marquette is low on Tall Women and Anthon moves the Golden Eagles in that direction. She also gives Marquette 12 projected players on the roster with a roster limit of 15. Thatâs adding something to the season at the very least, and since she has spent two years in junior college, she helps tilt the roster away from the notable freshman tilt that we were seeing back when Kinley Asp and Brooklyn Hall committed to MU.
Now the question becomes: If Cara Consuegra is at the point where sheâs taking on commitments from junior college players to fill in roster spots, are we looking at the full 2026-27 roster here, or is there still more work to be done?
