Notre Dame basketball continues to add pieces to it's team for next season.
Jacob Burow, a 6-foot, 3-inch combo guard from Lake County Lutheran in Wisconsin, announced on his social media that he would be playing with the Fighting Irish next season. Last season, Burow averaged 21.0-points, 7.6-rebounds, and 2.6-steals per game as a senior. His outstanding play led him to be named Midwest Classic Conference Player of the Year.
According to Burow's recruiting profile, he is a versatile guard who can shoot, drive, and defend. It should also be noted that he has a 3.9 GPA listed on his social media profile.
From a pure scouting standpoint, Jacob looks like the type of guard who can be a depth piece for head coach Micah Shrewsberry. He could help out in practice and help push the other guards to elevate their games and even come in and spot a few minutes in emergency situations.
Notre Dame has lost a lot of talent off last year's team which missed a postseason tournament for the second straight season. And while they have been able to bring some new talent back, fans would be justified to think that this could be another rough year in South Bend.
