It’s finally here.
After months and hundreds of hours of work, the official Big Blue View Big Board for the 2026 NFL Draft is done.
As usual, Nick Falato and I teamed up to set a consensus board. We prefer to use a “Pro Style” two-axis big board that breaks prospects up by position and color coded by tier. We’ve found that this gives a better feel for how players across position groups stack up with each other than a traditional single axis “stack” board (such as a Top 100).
Players are ordered by approximate value within tier, though each player within a tier should have a close enough value such that taking the second player in a group over the first isn’t necessarily a “reach”.
In a break with previous years, we’re including a “Nickel” position. This is a bit of a catch-all for slot corners, third safeties, safety-corner hybrids, and safety-linebacker hybrids. Nick and I are both of the opinion that the “Nickel Defender” is going to be coming in vogue as teams look to replicate the success of the Seattle Seahawks and the “Baltimore 2.0” defense perfected by Mike MacDonald.
We’re also taking advantage of some new capabilities behind the scenes to bring you live boards for the first time. The players’ names are linked back to individual scouting reports wherever possible and the board will be kept updated throughout the draft. So be sure to refresh to watch players come off the board.
