The sixth round of the 2026 IndyCar season is over, and Arrow McLaren returned to the top step of the podium with Christian Lundgaard. It was his second career win, and his first in almost three years.
David Malukas, still searching for his first career win, finished second for the third time in his career. He was 4.6 second back of Lundgaard at the checkered flag. Graham Rahal rounded out the podium in third, 7.9 second behind the race winner.
Josef Newgarden finished fourth and pole-sitter Alex Palou was fifth.
Mick Schumacher was just a couple of laps away from a career-best finish of 11th, but contact with Santino Ferrucci resulted in a drive-through penalty that dropped him to 20th. Dennis Hauger led the rookie class in eighth -- his career-best finish.
Next up on the schedule is the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500.
