Ohio State's 2026 NFL draft picks have received their new jersey numbers, marking a significant moment for the players. Eleven Buckeyes were selected in this year's draft, with most players assigned new numbers according to NFL regulations.
It's one thing to be selected in the NFL draft, but when that jersey number goes on the new colors, it all hits home a little harder. That's what happened this week for all the new blood in the NFL, and with Ohio State seeing eleven guys go in this year's crop, there are plenty of Buckeyes running around in new digits.
Of course, not all players receive new jersey numbers, but because the NFL has a different way of assigning numbers to certain position groups, the majority do, and that's what we've seen with the OSU players as well.
