With the annual Spring Game looming, it could be a huge recruiting weekend for the Ohio State football team. Many recruits will be on campus for the Scarlet and Gray scrimmage, and the excitement of the event may garner the Buckeyes several commitments by the end of the weekend.
But all eyes will be focused on Pittsburgh the day before the Spring Game as four-star offensive lineman Jimmy Kalis will make his commitment live on the Rivals YouTube Channel. Kalis has narrowed his choices to Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Texas. The LSU Tigers seemed to be leading the way for the commitment of Kalis, but the Buckeyes have surged as of late. In fact, Ohio State has made such a jump that the 247Sports staff has made a crystal ball prediction for Kalis to land in Columbus.
Kalis recently had this to say about OSU: “They are very high on my list because they have been there and been very consistent since day 1. They develop OL at a high level and have an elite culture and they take pride in getting guys to the next level.”
You can watch the commitment live on Friday at 6 p.m. ET. It would be a huge win for the Buckeyes as Tyler Bowen continues to rebuild the offensive line at Ohio State.
