Jaylin Williams and Isaiah Joe of the OKC Thunder will have streets named after them in Fort Smith, Arkansas, in honor of their 2025 NBA Championship victory. The City of Fort Smith approved the street renaming on May 5.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Jaylin Williams and Isaiah Joe are getting their own streets in their hometown.
The two natives of Fort Smith, Arkansas, will see their names on portions of North 23rd and 25th streets in that city in celebration of their 2025 NBA Championship victory.
The City of Fort Smith approved renaming the streets during a meeting on Tuesday, May 5.

Streets on the east and west sides of Northside High School, Williams and Joe's alma mater, will be renamed "Jaylin Williams Court" and "Isaiah Joe Court" respectively.
City Director Kevin Settle said at the meeting that the renaming is a "fabulous idea honoring two fabulous individuals."
The board said they are planning a ribbon-cutting during the summer to celebrate the renaming, with hopes that other Thunder players can attend with a 2026 NBA Championship trophy as well.

"I think we ought to coordinate it around the next parade we have for them winning their second NBA championship," Director Neal Martin said.
The two joked and Steele knocked on wood, "just so everybody knows, I'm not going to jinx it."
