Mississippi State got back on track after a six-game home losing streak by sweeping South Carolina. Five of the Bulldogs' six SEC series have ended in sweeps.

For most of the season, Arkansas was a solid pitching team that struggled to hit, but a 26-14 loss in the rubber match against Georgia was a head-scratcher.

Oklahoma got its first series sweep of the season against Missouri, leaving just two SEC teams that have not swept a conference series this season.

Kentucky has lost five straight series but is still in position to make the postseason with a series against South Carolina still remaining.

LSU is in real danger of missing the postseason with its 6-12 SEC record and a No. 65 RPI. The Tigers still have road series against Mississippi State and Georgia still remaining.

Outside its sweep of Missouri, the Gamecocks have won just two SEC games, but they have three extra-innings losses.
