Carles MartĂnez Novell has established Toulouse FC as a midtable club in Ligue 1, one that can look up the table rather than looking over its shoulder. As his side prepare to face RC Lens in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France on Tuesday night, there are, however, questions regarding the Spaniardâs future, LâĂquipeunderstands. Contingency planning is already underway.
Should he leave, replacements are being lined up. Olivier Pantaloni has done excellent work at FC Lorient but will leave the Breton club at the end of the campaign, upon the expiry of his deal. Bruno Genesio is also a target, although Toulouse understand that he may be outside of their budget. The Frenchmanâs contract at Lille OSC is also up at the end of the season.
