As Manuel Neuer wraps up his fifteenth â and possibly his last? â Bayern Munich season, it is a good time for fellow players and fans alike to appreciate just how good the Bavarians have had it.
The 40-year-old keeper is still putting up elite performances in the biggest matches, and more than that, he is just plain entertaining. That sets him apart, as former Bayern and German menâs national team teammate Toni Kroos explained on his podcast, Einfach mal Luppen.
âFor me itâs a fact that Manu is the best of all-time. Heâs the only goalkeeper whoâs fun to watch,â Kroos said in comments captured by @iMiaSanMia. âWhat heâs doing looks so good. He still has his own unique style of goalkeeping. Only he has that. He still has an incredible aura â with his movements, his elegance.â
Hereâs to at least a few more weeks of Neuer flaunting all his trademark Neuer moves.
