The Oregon Ducks had yet another successful weekend when it comes to the 2026 NFL Draft, sending a total of seven players to the next level, with more signing as undrafted free agents after the fact. Two of those drafted players — TE Kenyon Sadiq and S Dillon Thieneman — were selected in the first round, continuing Oregon's streak of first-rounders to seven consecutive years.
Now, as we look forward, who can we count on from Oregon's roster to make that eight consecutive years?
At Ducks Wire, we made our predictions earlier this week, and those are starting to pick up steam thanks to the latest 2027 mock draft from USA TODAY. On Sunday morning, USAT put out its first projection of the 32 Day One picks next year, and a total of four Ducks are projected to hear their names called.
It all starts with quarterback Dante Moore, who was projected to be a first-round pick in 2026, had he declared.
Had he declared for the 2026 draft, Moore likely would have been a top-10 pick behind Fernando Mendoza. Now he enters a much deeper draft class, with the likes of , CJ Carr, Julian Sayin, and . Still, USAT projects that Moore will be the No. 2 passer off the board, only behind Manning, who goes No. 1 to the in this mock. Here is their analysis:

Analysis: Oregon just sent a TE to the NFL in the first round with Kenyon Sadiq, and it looks quite apparent that they will have the first TE off the board in the 2027 draft as well. Johnson is ultra-talented both as a pass-catcher and a blocker, and he will likely make a lot of noise this year, potentially landing himself in the first round next year.
"The post-Mike Evans life might quickly reveal how badly the Buccaneers miss having a supersized option in the passing game. At 6-5 and 257 pounds, Johnson can handle in-line work and win contested catches while also stretching defenses vertically and doing damage after the catch. He could be in for a star turn with Kenyon Sadiq off to the Jets."

Analysis: Just as Dillon Thieneman came into Oregon last year and created a first-round draft resume, we expect the same to happen for Koi Perich this year. At Minnesota, Perich established himself as one of the best safeties in the nation, and now he has a chance to truly showcase his talent at a high level in Eugene. If he has similar success to Thieneman, a first-round selection is easy to project.
"The back end of the 49ers' defense hasn't generated many splash plays in recent years. Perich, who dabbled at receiver at Minnesota and also was a standout returner, could change the dynamic of the secondary. At 6-1 and 200 pounds, he could be on the Dillon Thieneman trajectory as a supreme athlete looking to rediscover his top form with the Ducks after moving over from a Big Ten school."

Analysis: Washington is another player who passed on a first-round draft grade this year in order to return to Oregon for one more year. With another solid season of production, he could easily find his way into the first round, and according to USAT, he could end up with the Chargers, alongside former Oregon DL Jamaree Caldwell.
"Jim Harbaugh's quest to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball seems bound to extend to next offseason. Washington moves astonishingly well for a 330-pounder, but his real value to the Chargers would be the double teams he draws and run plays he routinely blows up."

If this mock comes to fruition, it would be historic for the Ducks. Never before has Oregon had more than two players selected in the first round, which they have now done in two straight years. Getting four players selected, though, would be incredible for Lanning and his staff. When you also consider names like Matayo Uiagalelei, Teitum Tuioti, and Evan Stewart, the number could potentially rise in Eugene if they reach the ceiling that we feel is possible in 2026.
