Starter: Dante Moore (rJr.)
Backups: Brock Thomas (rJr.), Dylan Raiola (Jr.), Akili Smith Jr. (rFr.)
Not much debate about this one. Dante Moore is a presumed first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft and is the Ducks' unquestioned starter for the 2026 season. Behind him, Eugene native Brock Thomas was his primary backup in 2025, ahead of several higher-rated QBs coming out of high school. Coveted Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola is also waiting in the wings for his shot to start for the Ducks when Moore moves on. Both Raiola and Thomas had their moments in Oregon's spring game, but Thomas undoubtedly has more experience in the Ducks' system and likely has the early edge as Moore's backup. Lanning has utilized multiple QBs in mop-up duty in the past, and it likely won't be clear who the backup is unless Moore can't play.

Starter: Jordon Davison (So.) OR Dierre Hill Jr. (So.)
Backups: Simeon Price (rSr.), Da'Jaun Riggs (rSo.), Brandon Smith (Fr.), Tradarian Ball (Fr.)
Oregon's run game wasn't very explosive in its open scrimmage at Autzen Stadium, partially by design, but it's clear the Ducks will lean on sophomore stars Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill Jr. plenty in 2026, if they can. The Ducks have shown in years past to spread the wealth in the backfield, and though one of the sophomores will likely earn the lion's share of carries at some point, expect them to split carries through most of the season. Behind them is a ton of unproven talent, though freshmen Brandon Smith and Tradarian Ball flashed at times in the scrimmage.

Starters: Dakorien Moore (So.), Jeremiah McClellan (rSo.), Evan Stewart (rSr.)
Backups: Iverson Hooks (rSr.), Messiah Hampton (Fr.), Jack Ressler (rSo.)
You won't find many starting receiver groups in the country more talented than the combination of Dakorien Moore, Evan Stewart and Jeremiah McClellan, when healthy. The problem last year for the Ducks was the health of that trio. Stewart, who missed all of last season, wore a non-contact jersey during the spring game but had a touchdown in his return to Autzen and looked close to returning to full-go. Moore, who missed some time last year, had over 100 yards and the game's winning score, while McClellan sat out the spring game for undisclosed reasons. Behind those three is a group of extremely talented, but unproven players. Iverson Hooks, a transfer from UAB, provides speedy depth in the slot, while Messiah Hampton and Jalen Lott, with the latter enrolling in the fall, are intriguing freshmen to watch.

Starter: Jamari Johnson (rJr.)
Backups: Markus Dixon (rJr.), Andrew Olesh (rFr.), A.J. Pugliano (rSo.), Kendre Harrison (Fr.)
In another group with a clear star and some unproven players behind him, Johnson will be one of the top tight ends in the country in 2026 and is the clear starter set to replace first-round pick Kenyon Sadiq. Outside Johnson, someone has to step up. Markus Dixon flashed physically in the spring game but was playing as a defensive lineman at Clemson last year. Andrew Olesh was a top prospect but didn't play much in his freshman season at Penn State, and the towering Kendre Harrison is an intriguing prospect in his own right but will have to prove himself to the coaches before he earns playing time.
Oregon’s Jamari Johnson, center, celebrates a touchdown catch April 25 during the first quarter of the Ducks' spring game at Autzen Stadium. Johnson is the projected starter at tight end.
Starters: LT Fox Crader (rSo.), LG Douglas Utu (rFr.), C Iapani Laloulu (Sr.), RG Dave Iuli (rSr.), RT Michael Bennett III (rSr.)
Backups: LT Ziyare Addison (rFr.), LG Kawika Rogers (rSr.), C Devin Brooks (rSo.), RG Demetri Manning (rFr.), RT Gernorris Wilson (rJr.)
The Ducks have to replace three starters on their offensive line, but that isn't new for assistant A'lique Terry, who has guided his units to several Joe Moore Award finalist positions. Iapani Laloulu will be a preseason All-American at center, and Dave Iuli brings starting experience at right guard. But elsewhere the Ducks will turn to new faces to anchor their line. Fox Crader has earned praise in his third year at Oregon, Yale transfer Michael Bennett III had a great spring and youngsters Douglas Utu, Ziyare Addison and Demetri Manning have all earned praise from coaches. Gernorris Wilson, who has battled injuries throughout his Oregon career, is another player to watch at tackle.
Oregon outside linebacker Anthony Jones Jr., left, and offensive lineman Fox Crader square off in the spring game. Crader is a projected starter at left tackle, while Jones could challenge to make the first team.
Starters: DE Matayo Uiagalelei (Sr.), DT Bear Alexander (rSr.), DT A'Mauri Washington (Sr.)
Backups: DE Elijah Rushing (rSo.), DT Aydin Breland (rSo.), DT D'Antre Robinson (Jr.)
Oregon's defensive line will be one of the most talented starting groups, if not the most, in the country in 2026 with Matayo Uiagalelei, Bear Alexander and A'Mauri Washington returning rather than entering the draft. Despite losing a good chunk of depth to the portal, Aydin Breland was impressive in the spring game and transfer D'Antre Robinson looks the part along the interior.
Outside linebacker Nasir Wyatt, right, blocks a pass by quarterback Brock Thomas in the spring game. Wyatt is a projected starter, while Thomas will be in the mix to back up Dante Moore.
Starters: OLB Teitum Tuioti (Sr.), ILB Devon Jackson (rSr.), ILB Jerry Mixon (Sr.), OLB Nasir Wyatt (So.)
Backups: OLB Bleu Dantzler (rFr.), ILB Dylan Williams (rSo.), ILB Brayden Platt (rSo.), OLB Anthony "Tank" Jones (Fr.)
Teitum Tuioti has the chance to be a preseason All-American, and sophomore Nasir Wyatt is a pass-rushing star in the making. Add in seniors Devon Jackson and Jerry Mixon and there's no reason this unit can't be a strength in 2026. Oregon's depth will be tested here. But Oregon State transfer Bleu Dantzler stood out in the spring game and redshirt sophomores Dylan Williams and Brayden Platt should be ready to contribute as third-year players. Also look out for redshirt freshman Gavin Nix.
Starters: CB Brandon Finney Jr. (So.), CB Ify Obidegwu (rSo.), S Aaron Flowers (rSo.), S Koi Perich (Jr.), NB Carl Williams IV (rJr.)
Backups: CB Aaron Scott Jr. (Jr.), CB Na'eem Offord (So.), S Peyton Woodyard (Jr.), S Trey McNutt (rFr.), NB Davon Benjamin (Fr.)
Brandon Finney and Ify Obidegwu were more than stout a year ago on the outside. Along with safety Aaron Flowers, and the additions of Koi Perich and Carl Williams IV in the transfer portal, Oregon's secondary should be a strength in 2026. Behind them, Na'eem Offord could make a jump as a sophomore and Trey McNutt is a player to watch after missing all of last year to injury. Keep an eye on the Ducks' nickel defender after the loss to Jadon Canady and Daylen Austin from 2025.

Starters: PK Gage Hurych (rSo.), P Bailey Ettridge (So.), LS RJ Todd (rSr.)
Backups: PK Rocco Graziano (rFr.), LS Thomas Donkerbrook (Fr.)
West Linn grad Gage Hurych took every field goal in the spring game and went 2 for 4, with both misses from over 50 yards. The Ducks also have Eugene product Rocco Graziano and Nevada transfer Emmett Keaton on the roster but just one punter in Bailey Ettridge. Could the Ducks add a walk-on to gain some depth at punter this summer?
