Albernaz did not do the postgame press conference but met with the media on Tuesday afternoon to share news on the full extent of his injuries.

He appeared in good spirits as he walked into the press room. He encouraged the media to get pictures of his good and bad side.
His face is swollen and bruised which is to be expected.
However, his injuries are more serious than just bruises. He has a broken jaw and at least seven fractures in his cheek. Albernaz does not need surgery.
Keeping his sense of humor, he joked that he has âeat baby food for six weeks.â

The rookie MLB manager wants his team to be the center of attention especially after Mondayâs inspiring come-from-behind win after falling behind 7-1 through five innings.
Ironically, Jeremiah Jackson, whose foul ball struck Albernaz in the dugout, had five RBIs and was instrumental in the Orioles comeback with a Grand Slam and a solo homerun in the two at bats after the Albernaz incident.
At 9-7, the Orioles are tied with the Yankess for the top spot in the AL East.
The Orioles will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second game of their series at 6:30 PM tonight (4/14).
