Juaron Watts-Brown limited Altoona to only two hits over 4.1 innings, but the former Blue Jays prospect walked four. He allowed one run and struck out six. Tyson Neighbors allowed a run over 1.2 innings. Cohen Achen recorded five outs without allowing a hit, and Zane Barnhart notched the win with 1.1 scoreless frames. Lonnie White Jr. (a former Penn State wide receiver commit) finished 2-for-4 for Altoona.

Frederick scored 11 runs for the second consecutive night after tallying nine on Tuesday. Elis Cuevas recorded three of the Keys’ 10 hits while scoring twice and driving in a pair. Wehiwa Aloy and Vance Honeycutt both went deep for Frederick. Ike Irish finished 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Cuevas, Ryan Stafford, and Maikol Hernández all recorded extra-base hits. Boston Bateman tossed five innings to secure the win. Bateman gave up seven hits, but only one of the four runs allowed were earned. He walked two and struck out four. Twine Palmer turned some heads with four scoreless innings. Palmer struck out six and walked two.
