The Baysox battled back with a two-run eighth to secure a 4-3 victory over the Curve. Brandon Butterworth, Frederick Bencosme and Ethan Anderson all walked to loaded the bases. Anderson De Los Santos grounded into a force out that brought in Butterworth, and Aron Estrada drove in the go-ahead run with another ground ball. Anderson got the Baysox on the board with a solo homer in the bottom of the first. Estrada recorded the only multi-hit game with a pair of singles. Juaron Watts-Brown limited Altoona to only two hits over 4.1 innings, but the former Blue Jays prospect walked four. He allowed one run and struck out six. Tyson Neighbors allowed a run over 1.2 innings. Cohen Achen recorded five outs without allowing a hit, and Zane Barnhart notched the win with 1.1 scoreless frames. Lonnie White Jr. (a former Penn State wide receiver commit) finished 2-for-4 for Altoona.
Frederick scored 11 runs for the second consecutive night after tallying nine on Tuesday. Elis Cuevas recorded three of the Keys’ 10 hits while scoring twice and driving in a pair. Wehiwa Aloy and Vance Honeycutt both went deep for Frederick. Ike Irish finished 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Cuevas, Ryan Stafford, and Maikol Hernández all recorded extra-base hits. Boston Bateman tossed five innings to secure the win. Bateman gave up seven hits, but only one of the four runs allowed were earned. He walked two and struck out four. Twine Palmer turned some heads with four scoreless innings. Palmer struck out six and walked two.
The Chesapeake Baysox won 4-3, Frederick Keys won 11-4, and Delmarva Shorebirds won 6-2, while the Norfolk Tides' game was postponed.

The Shorebirds took control of the game with a four-run fourth. Raylin Ramos gave Delmarva the lead with a home run, and the Shorebirds plated two more when Junior Aybar reached on an error. Delmarva recorded only five hits but walked eight times. Félix Amparo drove in the first run with a double to right. Braylon Whitaker drove in a run with a single in the fourth, and DJ Layton added some insurance with an RBI double in the ninth. Esteban Mejia limited Salem to one run over four innings.
