The Orlando Magic have fired head coach Jamahl Mosley, according to ESPN, in a move that had been widely anticipated throughout the 2025–26 season. Orlando entered the year with high expectations following the blockbuster trade acquisition of Desmond Bane, but ultimately fell short of seriously contending for the Eastern Conference crown.

Despite regular-season inconsistencies, the Magic’s postseason showed flashes of what the team was capable of achieving.
