Papers: Sir Jim Ratcliffe hesitant to give Carrick permanent Man Utd job
Sir Jim Ratcliffe unsure about making Carrick permanent manager of Manchester United
The Dallas Cowboys traded defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2026 third-round pick. This move was made to alleviate surplus at the defensive tackle position and improve the Cowboys' draft capital.
When the pick is made at slot 92, we will update.
The Dallas Cowboys received a 2026 third-round pick, specifically the No. 92 overall selection, in exchange for Osa Odighizuwa.
In the 2025 NFL season, Osa Odighizuwa led the Cowboys with 52 pressures and had a pass-rush win rate of 13.6%, while playing all 17 games.
The Cowboys opted to trade Osa Odighizuwa to secure a valuable draft pick, as trading Kenny Clark may not have yielded as good a return despite his higher age and contract.

Odighizuwa was a quality defensive tackle for the Cowboys in 2025, leading the team with 52 pressures last year. He also recorded a pass-rush win rate of 13.6 percent, according to PFF, while having just one missed tackle on the season and making 14 run stops. The defensive tackle has been quite durable throughout his career, playing in all 17 games for a fourth straight season, but a move at the position was coming with the Cowboys having Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark, and Odighizuwa on big contracts heading into 2026. Now, would it have been better to trade Clark, who is three years older and didnât post as good a pass-rush win rate or pressure rate as Odighizuwa in 2025? Probably. But a Clark trade may not have landed as good a draft pick in return, and the Cowboys were in dire need of a Day 2 pick. While Dallas holds the No. 12 and No. 20 overall picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, they didnât have a selection after that until No. 112. Their second-round pick was a part of the Quinnen Williams trade, while their third-round pick was a part of the George Pickens trade last offseason. With this deal, they now have No. 12 and No. 20 in the first, and No. 92 and No.112 to go with three fifth-round picks and a seventh-round pick in this draft.
