Tennessee State senior Aaron Nkrumah has reportedly been added as a participant in the 2026 G League combine, according to Jeremy Woo of ESPN.
Nkrumah was the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, averaging 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists and 2.8 steals while shooting 35.1% from 3-point range in 33 appearances. He led the conference in scoring, while ranking second in the country in total steals (92).
The 6-foot-6 guard wasn't among the 44 prospects on the initial invitation list for the combine, which begins on Friday in Chicago, Illinois. He will have the opportunity to compete in 5-on-5 games, strength and agility exercises, shooting drills, measurements and other related testing.
Nkrumah helped the Tigers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 32 years, recording 14 20-point games. He was one of two Division I players to average at least 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and 2.5 steals per game this past season.
The Massachusetts native played the first two years of his career at Worcester State in Division III. He put himself on the NBA radar after a dazzling senior year under first-year coach Nolan Smith, improving his scoring average from 10.9 as a junior.
The top performers in the G League combine will be invited to the draft combine, taking place May 10-17 at the Wintrust Arena and Marriott Marquis. Last year, Yanic Konan NiederhÀuser and Ryan Nembhard were among those who advanced to the draft combine.
