According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers are inviting UAB running back Isaiah Jacobs, the younger brother of Packers running back Josh Jacobs, to rookie minicamp as a tryout player following the draft.
Isaiah Jacobs, who went undrafted, would need to be signed by the Packers following the minicamp to join his older brother on the team's 90-man offseason roster.
Over 20 career games at UAB, Jacobs rushed 161 times for 669 yards and seven touchdowns and caught 39 passes for 178 yards and another touchdown. He also returned three kickoffs for 56 yards in 2025. Jacobs transferred from Maryland after the 2021 season.
In his final collegiate game, Jacobs rushed 14 times for a career-high 84 yards in a win over Tulsa.
Per Dane Brugler, Jacobs ran the 40-yard dash in 4.94 seconds, hit 33.5" in the vertical leap, covered 9-11 in the broad jump and finished the short shuttle in 4.32 seconds and the 3-cone in 7.58 seconds at UAB's pro day. His Relative Athletic Score is 4.79 out of 10.0. He posted very poor scores in the 40 and 3-cone.
Josh Jacobs starred at Alabama before becoming a first-round pick of the Raiders in 2019. He joined the Packers as a free agent before the 2024 season and is signed through the 2027 season.
