Christmas morning is here! It's time for the 2026 NFL Draft. Even though the Green Bay Packers don't have a pick in the first round on Thursday night, it's time for my first seven-round mock draft of this draft cycle.
Let's dive into the prospects the Packers got in my seven-round mock draft. While you read this, I'm going to crack an energy drink.
The 6-3, 318-pound defensive tackle played a vital role in the Red Raiders having the top rushing defense in college football this past season. He has the natural girth to clog up running lanes and he finished this past season with 10.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 26 pressures and 25 stops. Hunter had a 30 visit with the Packers, so there is at least a level of interest.
At 6-1, 196 pounds and with nearly 32-inch arms, Everette is well put together. He runs with long strides and plays with 'easy' speed. He can hit his top gear quickly. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Everette clocked a 4.38 40-yard dash. Over the past two seasons, he recorded 14 pass deflections and four interceptions. Another Bulldog is going to find his next home in Green Bay.
Halton has violent hands and his counters have counters. To go along with his power, Halton has good initial quickness off the snap to quickly get upfield and collapse the integrity of the pocket. Over the past two seasons, Halton has recorded 8.5 sacks and 59 pressures. Pairing his ability to get after the quarterback with Hunter's ability to clog up running lanes would be a good defensive tackle double dip for the Packers.
The Packers hosted Demmings on a 30-visit and he was also coached by Jamal Lett, a defensive quality control coach for the Packers at the Senior Bowl. At 6-1, 191 pounds and 32-inch arms, Demmings certainly looks the part. He’s a physical and athletic cornerback. He finished this past season with four interceptions and nine pass deflections. After taking Everette in the third, the Packers add another long, athletic cornerback with plus ball skills in the fifth round.
Lee Hunter is a defensive tackle from Texas Tech, known for his 10.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 26 pressures during the last season.
The Packers are expected to focus on cornerback and defensive tackle positions in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Packers do not have a first-round pick due to previous trades or draft strategies that have affected their selection order.
The Packers' interest in Lee Hunter, indicated by his 30 visit, suggests they see him as a valuable addition to strengthen their defensive line.

Kelly may be one of the best blitzing linebackers in this draft class. The Weber State transfer finished his career with 128 pressures and 31.5 sacks. The BYU linebacker is powerfully built and does a good job of getting himself off blocks. He's a player capable of causing a lot of havoc. Aside from what he'd bring to the defensive side of the ball, he'd be a hired gun on special teams. He finished his collegiate career with 402 snaps on special teams.
Carmona offers five-position versatility. The San Jose State transfer finished his career with 37 starts at left tackle and 12 at left guard. As a run blocker, he plays with an edge and uses his physical hands to push defenders off their spot. He keeps his hands tight and ready in pass protection. This past season he gave up one sack and 16 pressures. With his versatility, Carmona could be an ideal target for a team looking to bolster their depth.
At 6-4, 260 pounds with 32-inch arms, Hubbard has an NFL frame. He has a plan of attack and strategically strings together moves. Every move he makes in his pass rush plan has a purpose. During his final two seasons, he recorded 13.5 sacks and 60 pressures. Hubbard plays the run with relentless energy. He uses active hands to deconstruct blocks and make plays behind the line of scrimmage.
Gyllenborg would give the Packers an athletic weapon at tight end. He has the speed to bust the seam. As a player who is still new to the game of football, he has gotten better each year and has a desire to become a great player. His run blocking has improved each season, and his athleticism is something worth betting on. The Packers need to add a body to the tight end room and after missing out on one early on Day 3, they get a potential lottery ticket late on Day 3.
