Giants get: SD No. 2 prospect C Ethan Salas, SD No. 5 prospect OF Ryan Wideman, SD No. 11 prospect RHP Tucker Musgrove

Peralta had a rocky start to the season, but has gotten under control. Heās posted a 1-1 record, a 3.86 ERA, 25 Ks, and a WHIP of 1.143 over 21 innings pitched.
The Padres would be shelling out prospects for a rental, but heād be cheap, as heās only set to make $8 million this season. The question is if they want to re-sign him, will they pay his market value of five-years, $131 million or more? Who knows.
Hopefully, the Padres can find a way to get Peralta, and somehow afford to lock him down long-term.
