The San Diego Padres are in the middle of a strong season, with Maason Miller being the highlight, as he's shutting down teams at the end of games for the Padres.
But one player is struggling mightily so far this season for the Padres: superstar outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. Through April, Tatis still has yet to hit a home run.
However, Zachary D. Rymer of Bleacher Report is predicting that Tatis will not just hit his first homer in May, but he will lead the entire league in HRs to have polar opposite months to begin the season.
"Fernando Tatis Jr. will lead MLB in homers," Rymer writes. "Getting more under the ball is thus the only thing standing between Tatis and a proper dinger deluge."

If Tatis can simply get underneath the baseball but still maintain his elite exit velocity and hard-hit rate, he could put together a power-surge.
Rymer is predicting Tatis will figure things out this month, and the results will have the Padres outfielder putting together a ridiculously impressive month, leading all of MLB in homers in the month of May.
Tatis still has power; the only issue is he's hitting everything down when the only way to hit a home run is to get underneath a ball. It's a small adjustment, and if he can make it, the homers should start flying in for Tatis this season.
