Xavier Legette's job with the Carolina Panthers might be in jeopardy.
And at the moment, a video of him working out in the offseason doesn't seem to be helping his cause.
A video going somewhat viral has fans wondering if Legette isn't in the best of shape, or if he's lost a step:

The reality is that this may already have been the case. Legette hasn't lived up to the hype.
This will be Legette's third season in the NFL, and it's a pivotal one.
"Legette was a late college breakout drafted largely for his size/speed profile," ESPN's Ben Solak wrote earlier this month. "At first it looked like the Panthers' receivers room would have plenty of space for his development -- Legette was the Panthers' leading target-getter as a rookie. But the emergence of undrafted free agent Jalen Coker and subsequent drafting of 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan pushed Legette down to No. 3 on the depth chart ... and now Chris Brazzell II has entered the building."
Brazzell is a player a lot like Legette, at least in his on-paper profile. If he looks faster and better on the field, he could quickly push Legette aside.
At this point, Legette might be one of those guys who needs to get a chance elsewhere, because it doesn't necessarily seem like things will work out for him in Carolina.

If Xavier Legette is not performing at his best, it could jeopardize his position on the Carolina Panthers roster.
The viral video of Xavier Legette has sparked speculation about his physical condition and whether he has lost a step in his performance.
