Pat McAfee has made a career as an analyst following his playing career by being loud.
So it only made sense for the former Indianapolis Colts punter to announce the Colts' picks in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Friday, April 24, from Pittsburgh.

As usual, McAfee played the heel and played to the crowd as he announced the Colts' selection of Georgia linebacker CJ Allen with the No. 53 overall pick, also the first selection of the draft for Indianapolis.
"They said yins are getting soft, yangs are getting tired, are you yinzers getting exhausted from so much football celebration, or no?" McAfee asked the crowd.
"Now, the Indianapolis Colts first-round selection was Sauce Gardner," the ESPN analyst said, referring to the Colts trading their first-round pick for the veteran cornerback. "And he's better than all of your first-round picks, for sure.
"The Indianapolis Colts have not won the AFC South in 12 years. That changes this year. Jim Irsay, from the football heavens, cured Daniel Jones' torn Achilles. Michael Pittman got sent to the Steelers, and in return, we got football gods."
McAfee referred to the Colts as the "AFC South kings" when introducing Allen as the draftee. He then did a dog bark, signifying the Georgia mascot, the Bulldogs.
