Chelsea suffered a heavy defeat to Brighton, with pundit Chris Sutton labeling their performance as 'pathetic.' The team has now gone over 400 minutes without scoring and has only one win in their last eight league matches.

What more can you say about Chelsea? More than 400 minutes without a goal, one win in 8 league games. Itâs as bad as we can remember at this club. Itâs frankly amazing weâre 7th â we deserve to be relegated.
On Sky Sports, Chris Sutton was on co-commentary duties, and while we usually canât bear to listen to him, it was nice in a perverse way to have him slamming the Blues.
His final comments summed it up nicely.
âChelsea have been pumped tonight, they were pathetic and are going backwards.â
Earlier in the game he had similar thoughts, questioning the belief and the commitment of the players on the pitch:
âChelsea are a team that looks like they have never played together before, but worse than that, it has been a really gutless display by them and they have been played off the park Brighton,â Sutton said.
âAnd the Chelsea players really need to take a long, hard look at themselves.â
The reality is, they gave up weeks ago. This is just the latest example.
