Patrick Mouratoglou may be eyeing up Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner to feature on his UTS Tour in the future.
The Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) was co-founded by Mouratoglou back in 2020, and it stands out from the regular tour thanks to its unique scoring format and rule set.
Since its inception, the UTS Tour has featured a number of big names, including Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Auger-Aliassime recently won the latest event in Nimes.

Speaking at the most recent UTS event in Nimes, Mouratoglou told Spazio Tennis he would love to see Alcaraz and Sinner involved, though he acknowledged the financial challenges of attracting players at their level.
âItâs my dream to have Carlos and Jannik participate,â Mouratoglou said. âI understand that when they play tournaments that are not ATP Tour tournaments their financial expectations are super high, because thatâs their value and I donât discuss it.
âThey are worth a lot so I think if one day they say âOkay, it looks funâ. Because I think there is something about our format which is interesting for them. One week before a major tournament or Masters 1000 or whatever, it could be a great way for them to prepare before official matches.
âI hope one day the conditions will make them feel like âOh, I would like to play itâ, it looks really cool, fun and I am also happy to play some real matches before that tournament. Maybe one day Iâll have them and I really hope I will.â

The next UTS Tour event is still a few months away, with the competition heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
This will mark the first time the tour has travelled to South America, and four players have already been announced for the lineup.
Nick Kyrgios is one of those names. He hasnât played a competitive match since his first-round doubles defeat at the Australian Open but is expected to return in April or May this year.
Kyrgios will be joined by Cameron Norrie, Francisco Cerundolo and Ugo Humbert in Rio de Janeiro.
The event will take place from July 16-18, following Wimbledon.
