David Andrews suggests the Patriots should select Clemson tackle Blake Miller with the No. 31 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He believes Miller could form a strong offensive line duo with Will Campbell.
Former New England Patriots center David Andrews likes the idea of the team using the No. 31 overall pick of the 2026 NFL Draft on Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller.
It should come as no surprise that the Patriots might show interest in adding another tackle on the right side behind 35-year-old veteran Morgan Moses. The goal should be building for 2026 and beyond, and despite Moses having a solid 2025 season, the team needs security if he goes down with an injury.
Andrews views the potential offensive tackle tandem of Will Campbell and Miller as a solid young duo.
"I've been not in a big camp of moving Will Campbell. That, to me, is a discussion in maybe another year or two," Andrews said on NBC Sports' The Next Pats Podcast. "I don't believe in it. I think people think, 'Oh, it's easy to do.' It's not that easy to do, personally, I don't think. [Miller] played a lot of right tackle.
"From everything I've heard, from missing one practice from the wrist and all theseโthat's the kind of guy, I think you would say, 'Alright, these are our two bookends. These are our two guys. They're going to help build this culture. We can rely on these guys to be culture builders for this room.'"
Miller is coming off a 2025 season that saw him produce at a high level. He recorded 885 total snaps and allowed only 14 pressures and two sacks with those snaps, earning First-Team All-ACC honors.
The 6-foot-6 and 315-pound offensive lineman would add another boost to the Patriots' much-improved offensive line. He'd have an opportunity to compete for the starting job in training camp. If he loses out to Moses, he'd still have a chance to develop behind the scenes before ultimately taking the mantle as the starting right tackle.
