The Pittsburgh Penguins forced a Game 4 with a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night.
Pittsburgh never trailed in the game as the Penguins led 1-0 after the first, and 2-1 after the second, en route to the 4-2 victory. It was a solid performance from the Penguins, who believe they can build off the win to try and extend the series to a Game 6.
“I think that looked more like our game. It’s probably taken us three games to look like ourselves a bit,” Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said postgame on Saturday. “So, I think that's something that we can definitely build on.”
The Penguins started Arturs Silovs in net, who stopped 28 of the 30 shots he faced and played well.
“Tonight, with the situation we were in, and a loud building like this, I thought he was really poised and made some big saves for us,” Crosby said.
The Pittsburgh Penguins won Game 4 against the Philadelphia Flyers with a score of 4-2.
The Penguins led throughout the game, never trailing and maintaining a lead of 1-0 after the first period and 2-1 after the second.

With the win, the Penguins avoided being swept and got a chance to return home and play in front of their fans, which Rickard Rakell is excited about.
“(Bringing the series back to Pittsburgh) was our only option, and it wasn't pretty a lot of times today,” Rakell said. “But we stuck with it. Obviously, it feels really good. It’s a huge win.”
Game 5 is set for Monday night at 7 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh.
