The exact nature of the injury has not been reported at this time, but it does appear Robinson will once again be held back from the field due to injury.
Robinson has yet to see the field during his college football career. Through three seasons in the program, Robisnon has not made an official appearance while dealing with nagging injury concerns the past few years.
Due to his lack of experience, it was unlikely Robinson was contending for any seriously meaningful playing time for Penn State this season. The defensive end position will likely be anchored by a healthy Max Granville on one side. There could be some competition for the other starting job with the addition of transfers like Ike Ezeogu and Alexander McPherson.
But the hopes were rising for Robinson in 2026. For now, the focus for Robinson will be on recovering from his current injury situation and, perhaps, focusing on a healthy 2027 season.
