Dilione is expected to be a regular contributor for the Dawgs’ next season. The former Penn State star averaged 14.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game last season. Dilione will join the Bulldogs with just one year of eligibility remaining following two productive seasons at Penn State as Georgia continues to reload in the portal with the addition of the senior guard.
Dilione began his college career with the Tennessee Volunteers, but transferred to Penn State after one season. Dilione enrolled early at Tennessee and got to spend some time practicing with Tennessee during the 2021-2022 season, where he redshirted.

Dilione was ranked as the No. 7 shooting guard and the No. 66 player available in the transfer portal, per the . The 6-foot-5, 195-pound guard is Georgia's first transfer portal commitment. The Bulldogs and coach Mike White were able to secure a commitment from the Penn State star despite offers from various programs. Dilione was ranked as the No. 46 overall player from the class of 2022, as the senior will look to thrive throughout his lone season in Athens.

In addition to Dilione, Georgia signed 7-foot center David Ugonna Ike, who will be a freshman this fall. Georgia has lost some of its top playmakers to the transfer portal this offseason. Star guard Jeremiah Wilkinson recently committed to Arkansas, while center Somto Cyril has committed to Miami.
