Logan Storley won a dominant decision against Florim Zendeli at PFL Sioux Falls, with scores of 30-25. Zendeli lost two points in the first round for fence grabs, further complicating his efforts to compete.
Logan Storley got out to a huge lead early and never looked back.
Fighting in front of a hometown crowd in South Dakota, Storley put on his usual workmanlike performance to win a one-sided decision over Florim Zendeli in the main event of PFL Sioux Falls on Saturday. As expected, Storley utilized his wrestling to neutralize Zendeli for three rounds and it didnât help when referee Kevin MacDonald took two points from Zendeli in the opening round.
Storley went on to win a unanimous decision with 30-25 scores across the board. The former interim Bellator welterweight champion bounced back from a disappointing defeat to Thad Jean in a 2025 PFL tournament final and has now won four of his past five bouts.
The first round was vintage Storley as he tackled the taller Zendeli to the mat and went to work with his wrestling. Zendeli worked his way to the cage wall, but the situation only worsened for him when he was quickly penalized by MacDonald for grabbing the fence. MacDonaldâs call apparently didnât deter Zendeli as he again grabbed the fence to counter Storleyâs grappling, prompting MacDonald to immediately dock him another point. After five minutes, Zendeli was in a deep 10-7 hole with only 10 more left to work.
Zendeli showed signs of life in Round 2, catching Storley with a few good strikes when the fight was on the feet, but Storley still found openings to take Zendeli down. Though Storley had blood on his face heading into Round 3, the damage was mostly superficial.
Storley was more patient in the third, but halfway through the round he secured another takedown and Zendeliâs chances of a comeback went up in smoke.
Afterwards, Storley (19-4) expressed his gratitude to the Sioux Falls crowd in his post-fight interview.
âSouth Dakota, thank you guys so much,â Storley said. âFrom the first fight to now, every time I go to camp, every time I fight, itâs for you guys. Itâs for this state. The greatest state. So thank you guys for showing up.â
The judges scored the fight 30-25 in favor of Logan Storley.
