However, the Phillies are the worst team in Major League Baseball in one simple statistic that is very concerning about their future: run differential.

Through the Phillies' first 19 games of the season, they own a brutal -34 run differential, which is the worst in all of Major League Baseball.

Second worst in the league is the Chicago White Sox, which owns a -33 run differential this season despite having a 7-13 record.

The Phillies are a game and a half better than the White Sox, yet they have a worse run differential. Not only are the Phillies losing games, but they're getting blown out.

Recently, things have gone terribly. They were blown out 10-4 and then 11-2 by the Chicago Cubs, and lost 9-0 to the Braves on Friday night.
