The biggest question facing every WNBA team in training camp
WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
Pistons playoff tickets are now available for purchase, including for the NBA Finals. The team, currently the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, will begin its postseason on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
Detroit — There will be playoff games at Little Caesars Arena. Potentially, several of them.
The Pistons are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and will open the postseason at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at LCA against the No. 8 seed in the East. The Pistons' first-round opponent is TBD, to be settled by the NBA's Play-In Tournament, which runs Tuesday through Friday.
But tickets are on sale for Pistons playoff games, for each round of the postseason. Yes, even the NBA Finals.
Pistons playoff tickets are on sale through pistons.com, which directs you to ticketmaster.com for verified resales. Here was the get-in (cheapest) ticket prices for each round of the playoffs at LCA, as of 8 a.m. Monday morning:
The Pistons, as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 60-22 regular-season record, have homecourt advantage throughout the first three rounds of the postseason, meaning if a series goes the full seven games, they would host four of them.
For the NBA Finals, the team with the best regular-season has home-court advantage. If the Oklahoma City Thunder (64-18) or San Antonio Spurs (62-20) make the NBA Finals out of the Western Conference, they would have home-court advantage. If it's any other team out of the Western Conference, then the Pistons would have home-court advantage.
Since Little Caesars Arena opened in 2017, it has hosted five Pistons playoff games — all losses, including two in a sweep by the Milwaukee Bucks in 2019, and three in a 4-2 series loss to the New York Knicks in 2025. (LCA has yet to host a Red Wings playoff game.)
The Pistons, with the fourth-best odds to win the Eastern Conference (slightly behind the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks), haven't been to the Eastern finals since 2008, when they made their sixth straight. They haven't been to the NBA Finals since going back-to-back in 2004 and 2005, back in The Palace days.
