Power Play — Dana White backs Adin Ross’ brand Risk Show at UFC Meta Apex

Adin Ross says Dana White and other key UFC figures are pushing hard to secure the venue for his next boxing event.

The Meta Apex in Las Vegas, regularly used for UFC Fight Nights, is already booked on May 16th. Arnold Allen is set to face Melquizael Costa that night, while Ronda Rousey’s Netflix project will be taking centre stage over in Los Angeles.

White has put down a $10,000 bet that the proposed main event between influencer Bob Menery and Johnny Manziel — expected to be an MMA bout on a mainly boxing card — won’t happen, pointing to Menery’s history of unfulfilled commitments.

Adin Ross claims Dana White and UFC exec Hunter Campbell are trying to host his next boxing event

Adin Ross recently said on his Kick channel that both Dana White and Hunter Campbell are working to secure the Meta Apex in Las Vegas for his next fight night. He mentioned that it’s Campbell who is really driving the effort.

Brand Risk Promotions typically broadcasts from Ross’ warehouse in Miami, but they’ve also moved around before. They took the show to Nashville when they needed Charleston White cleared for a fight with one of the Island Boys.

Now, there’s talk of heading to Nevada, backed by two men who were instrumental in getting Power Slap approved in what many consider the heart of combat sports.

“I want to just say W Dana and W Hunter,” Ross told his fans on a stream. “Hunter is doing everything he can to make this happen at the Apex, which is insane.

“So Dana and Hunter are so involved that they’re helping me with this. I don’t know how to appreciate that, this next Brand Risk is going to be next level.”

This isn’t the first time White and Campbell have shown their support for Ross. Last year, both attended one of his events and even provided commentary.
