After eight innings of scoreless baseball Tuesday, White Plains scored four runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat Cleburne County 4-0 in Class 4A, Area 12 play.
Crew Martin scored the game's first run on a bunt single by Logan Laube. Beau Madrigal followed with a two-run single, plating Walker Edwards and Laube. Madrigal scored the final run of the frame on an RBI groundout by Elijah Turner.
Colby Jones pitched the first seven innings for the Wildcats, allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out three. Jacob Stamm earned the win, fanning three while allowing just one walk over two innings of relief.
Brayden Maduro and Cael Fulmer recorded Cleburne County's only two hits.
Oxford 6, Pell City 2: Rocco Maniscalco hit a two-run homer and Ayden Noyola added two RBIs to help the Yellow Jackets down the Panthers in Class 6A, Area 11 action.

Connor Hyatt drew three walks and scored a team-high four runs, and Elijah Wills, Peyton Andrews and Braylen Gregory each finished with one run and one RBI.

Piedmont 8, Hokes Bluff 4: Ethan Tidwell doubled twice and drove in three runs to lead the Bulldogs past the Eagles.
Piedmont trailed 4-3 late but broke the game open with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Cole Austin and Eli Johnson both collected two hits and finished with one run and one RBI.
Alex Bass and Carson Cleveland each doubled and drove in one run apiece.
Jack Maye and Nick Glover scored two runs apiece, and Brenan Hurst and Aliandre Wright each crossed the plate once.

Sam Parker Wagoner doubled and scored a run for Jacksonville, which also got singles from Luke Richardson, Nick Johnson, Matt Salmon and Cooper Haynes. Richardson scored one run, and Salmon finished with one RBI.
The Saints won without recording a hit. Salmon was the hard-luck loser, allowing three unearned runs on four walks over six innings of work.
Gaston 10, Donoho 3: Sam Montgomery led Donoho at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs, but the Falcons dropped the Class 2A, Area 13 contest to the Bulldogs.
Owen Watts, Cooper Christopher and Fisher White scored one run apiece for Donoho.
Lincoln 5, Moody 4: Christian Bean went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Golden Bears past the Blue Devils in Class 5A, Area 11 action. Lincoln also got a two-run double from Mark Darby.
Parks Woodruff scored two runs, and Steele Calhoun, Hudson Manns and Charlie Ramsey scored one run apiece.

Baker earned the win, fanning nine while allowing just two hits over four scoreless innings. Ruark gave up two singles in the fifth but escaped without allowing a run.
Dawson Ellzey led the Panthers at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs. Ruark went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs and two RBIs.
Joel Hunter finished 2-for-3 with a triple and scored two runs, and Clayton Sadler singled and scored twice.
