Concord 9, Warsaw 8
Concord picked up a come-from-behind win against Warsaw Friday night. The two teams met in Nappanee after both field in Dunlap and Warsaw were unplayable. Concord plated four runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead after the Tigers reclaimed their lead in the top of the fifth. Derek Gomez and Lukas Ulfig drove in two runs each with Ulfig having a perfect day at the plate in three at-bats. Concord is now 8-3, 4-2 NLC.
Goshen 14, Wawasee 1 (5 inn.)
Goshen scored all 14 of its runs in the third inning and Bryson Wilson limited Wawasee to just one hit a rout in Syracuse Friday. Braxton Cline and Jensen Meikle both recorded three hits and Cline drove in four runs. Goshen is now 9-3, 5-1 NLC and Wawasee is now 2-8, 1-5 NLC.
Mishawaka 12, Northridge 4
Northridge lost its sixth-straight game, losing to Mishawaka Friday in Middlebury. The Raiders committed six errors in the game and were out-hit 15-8. Lucas Eash and Preston Ryan both recorded two hits while Eash, Luke Mann and Quinn Knepp drove in runs for Northridge. The Raiders sink to 3-9, 1-5 NLC.
NorthWood 11, Plymouth 3
NorthWood scored five runs in the second and five more in the seventh to earn a road win at Plymouth Friday. The Panthers were led by Ean Bogan on the mound, who pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out 14. Bogan also drove in two runs, as did Brady Weaver, Finley Miller and Drew Rains. NorthWood is now 8-3, 4-2 NLC.
SOFTBALL
#3 Churubusco 5, Fairfield 4 (NECC Tournament Championship)

Warsaw 10, Concord 8
Concord lost the fifth of its last six games with a 10-8 loss at Warsaw Friday. Concord scored two runs in the sixth and three in the seventh, but six errors committed by the Minutemen were too much to overcome to earn a victory. Laela Moore finished 2-of-4 at the plate, driving in three runs while Serina Masuth was 2-of-3, scoring three times. Concord drops to 3-8, 2-4 NLC.
Wawasee 5, Goshen 2

Plymouth 9, NorthWood 6
NorthWood allowed seven runs in the first three innings and didn’t score their second run until the sixth in Friday’s loss at home against Plymouth. Madelyn Lambert hit a home run and a double for the Panthers, finishing 2-of-4 at the plate and driving in four runs for the hosts. NorthWood is now 5-10, 1-5 NLC.
Concord won the game against Warsaw with a final score of 9-8.
Concord came from behind to win by scoring four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning after trailing.

GIRLS TENNIS
Jimtown 3, Concord 2
Concord fell to 2-5 with a loss against sectional foe Jimtown Friday night. Individual results were not submitted by publication.
Westview 4, Goshen 1
Westview earned its first out-of-conference win Friday against Goshen. Winning for the Warriors were Camryn Christner (2S: 6-0, 6-1), Karleen Bender (3S: 6-1, 6-1), Miley Mast and Lanita Mast (1D: 6-2, 7-6 (8-6)) and Ava Hostetler and Alayah Hostetler (2D: 6-4, 6-1). Goshen’s win came from Deborah Kratzer (1S: 6-3, 6-2). Westview is now 7-0 and Goshen drops to 4-3.
Manchester 5, Wawasee 0
Wawasee was swept by Manchester Friday night. The Squires cruised easily to the win, not giving up a game on any of the singles courts. Wawasee is now 0-9 this season.
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Princess Relays
Crown Point (95.5), Warsaw (85), Columbia City (78), Concord (71), Elkhart (66), Plymouth (61), LaPorte (31.5), Mishawaka (26), Mishawaka Marian (22)
Concord was the lone area team who competed at the Princess Relays in Mishawaka Friday after cold weather swept several athletes away from the track. Concord freshman Brynn Weirich recorded a win in the long jump with a jump of 17’ 6 1/2.”
