Northridge 14, Warsaw 0 (5 inn.)
Northridge put on a total team performance in a shutout of Warsaw on the road Friday. Quinn Knepp threw five shutout innings, allowing just three hits and walking two while striking out eight batters. The Raiders recorded just seven hits but scored 14 runs off of them as well as 11 walks. Michael Pointon hit a bases-clearing double and Aveary Johnson hit a pair of two-baggers. Northridge has now won its past four games and seven of their last eight. The Raiders are now 10-10, 6-6 NLC.
NorthWood 10, Mishawaka 5
NorthWood scored the final nine runs in a road 10-5 win at Mishawaka on Friday. Drew Rains recorded three hits and throve in five runs while also hitting a home run. Ryder Ransberger also hit a home run. Brady Blackford earned the win on the mound, pitching six innings and allowing two earned runs off five hits and a pair of walks. NorthWood is now 12-9, 6-6 NLC.
Plymouth 11, Wawasee 1 (6 inn.)
Wawasee was run-ruled in a six-inning loss to Plymouth on Friday. The Warriors recorded five hits with Garrett Tittle driving in Wawasee’s lone score of the night. Wawasee is now 2-16, 1-11 NLC.
SOFTBALL
Concord 12, Goshen 3
Concord rallied to pick up a win over Goshen Friday at the home of the RedHawks. The Minutmen scored three runs in the fourth inning, three in the fifth, five in the sixth and one in the seventh to pull away from an error-prone Goshen group. Serina Masuth drove in three runs while Esmeralda Perez finished 3-of-4 at the plate, scoring three times. Concord is now 8-13, 5-7 NLC while Goshen drops to 3-16, 2-10 NLC.
Northridge 13, Warsaw 3 (5 inn.)
Northridge picked up a short win at Warsaw on Friday. The Raiders compiled 17 hits and scored six runs in the second inning to pull away from the Tigers. Mia Branam was 3-of-4 at the dish and all three of her hits went for two bases. Willow Staley was 3-of-4 as well and drove in four runs off of two triple and a home run. Rachel Humbarger also homered for the Raiders. Northridge is now 11-7, 8-4 NLC.
Mishawaka 11, NorthWood 1 (5 inn.)
NorthWood fell behind early and lost at Mishawaka Friday afternoon. Payton Sears drove in the Panthers lone run and was one of three batters to record a hit. NorthWood is now 7-14, 3-9 NLC.
Wawasee 7, Plymouth 1
Wawasee scored four runs in the third inning and earned a win at home Friday against Plymouth. Abbagail Willy hit a home run and drove two runs in while Chasity Kelich was also 2-of-3 at the dish. Wawasee is now 12-11, 7-5 NLC.
BOYS GOLF
Ubele Invitational
The 90th Ubele Invitational took place in LaPorte on Friday. Northridge (312) finished second behind first-place Lake Central (303). Scoring for the Raiders were Cooper Kropf (73), Kaden Miller (75), Brady Riegsecker (82) and Owen Kaehr (82).
Westview 171, Lakeland 174
Westview defeated Lakeland at Heron Creek Friday to finish undefeated in the Northeast Corner Conference. The Warriors are now 11-1 and 10-0 NECC this season.
