The Colts' starting five up front is on the roster already, but the offensive line unit is short on experienced depth. First off the bench at tackle right now is either Luke Tenuta or Blake Freeland. Tenuta has played 35 career offensive snaps, while Freeland has 724, but almost all of those snaps came in 2023.
Having competition for Jalen Travis, the presumed starter at right tackle, wouldn't be a bad thing either, given his lack of NFL experience. That said, with more pressing needs elsewhere, adding to the tackle position may not be an early-round priority for Ballard.
With help from the consensus big board, here are the top offensive tackle prospects in this year's draft outside of the top 30, with the Colts' first pick coming at 47th overall.
