PRIMAVERA DRAW 1-1 WITH SASSUOLO
AC Milan Primavera drew 1-1 away at Sassuolo on matchday 34 of Primavera 1. After the 0-0 stalemate with Atalanta, the Rossoneri have now gone five games without defeat, although four of those have ended in draws, including three 1-1 scorelines (against Juventus and Bologna, plus today's result). It was a lively first half, with Domniței putting the Rossoneri ahead from a Perera assist, before Sassuolo equalised through Kulla just before the break. Both sides played at a high tempo, with well-organised pressing and plenty of end-to-end action in the opening 45 minutes.
In the second half, the tempo dropped, with clear signs of fatigue on the pitch, also due to the heat. This was evident when, just after the hour mark, Borsani began to struggle with cramp. Inevitably, chances became limited. Sassuolo attempted a few long balls, while AC Milan managed the game in an organised way without giving many opportunities away. This point moves the Rossoneri up to 44 points in the table. The team's next fixture is a home clash against Cagliari, which will provide an opportunity to build on this run of results.
The final score was 1-1.

MATCH REPORT It was a fast-paced start at the Ricci, with both sides earning an early corner. In the fourth minute, Nyarko kept out an attempt from Borsani. After 22 minutes, Scotti tried his luck from the edge of the box but fired just over. Sassuolo were pressing well and came close through Kulla, who failed to keep his effort down inside the box (26'). AC Milan opened the scoring in the 34th minute: Scotti broke through and gound Perera, who teed up Domniței to slot into the corner to make it 1-0. The Rossoneri seemed to be in control, but Sassuolo equalised in the closing stages of the half. From a long throw-in, Daldum held off his man, and a ricochet off E. Cissè fell kindly to Kulla, who made no mistake this time to level the score.
Sassuolo started the second half strongly and almost took the lead in the 49th minute through Negri, who was thwarted by a crucial intervention from E. Cissè just as he was about to shoot. AC Milan were trying to move the ball and control play, but the Neroverdi continued to threaten on the break. Shortly before the hour mark, Negri turned on the edge of the box and had a go, but his attempt lacked power and was comfortably saved by Bouyer. At the other end, Borsani sent a long-range free-kick wide. In the closing stages, attempts from Plazzotta for AC Milan and Costabile for Sassuolo failed to hit the target. The tempo dropped and clear chances were few and far between, with the score remaining unchanged as the match finished 1-1.
