The 6-5 aggregate semi-final victory for PSG sets up a clash with Arsenal in the final in Budapest on May 30.
The visitors burst into an early lead after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was given far too much space on the left and he squared for Ousmane Dembélé to fire into the roof of the net. Harry Kane, quiet otherwise, struck in injury time but it came too late for Bayern.
"We don't have players, we have warriors," PSG president Nasser al-Khelaïfi told Canal Plus.
Last week's first leg goalfest in France, won 5-4 by PSG, was widely hailed as one of the best games of recent times. The second leg was a different affair, with the French side tactically strong and Bayern lamenting Portuguese referee João Pinheiro's performance.
PSG's Portugal left back was fortunate to avoid a second booking in the first half for a handball when the referee opted to blow up for committing the same offence seconds earlier.
The final score was 1-1, with PSG winning 6-5 on aggregate.

But replays showed the ball had hit the Bayern man in the chest. The video assistant (VAR) could not intervene because it was a yellow card decision.
Laimer told DAZN: "It is hard, always, when you go out in a game like that. It really hurts. It is clearly another yellow card for him. It's bitter."
The Germans soon appealed for another handball in the box by João Neves, which was also rejected despite the Portugal midfielder's arm being away from his body as he deflected a clearance from his own team-mate. VAR did not appear to contact the referee due to complex rules over a defender clearing the ball from the area.
But PSG arguably deserved to progress over the two legs and will go for their second Champions League title, and second in a row, against an Arsenal side they knocked out in last season's semi-finals.
The near perennial French champions have still not sealed the Ligue 1 crown this term and are out of the French Cup.
Bayern's treble dream over
Six-times European Cup winners Bayern, who beat PSG when they last lifted the trophy in 2020, had come though a bruising quarter-final against record winners Real Madrid this term - yet their dreams of a treble are now over.
Bayern long ago retained their Bundesliga title and have a German Cup final on the horizon, but it will be scant comfort.
The teams were the same as the first leg except for Bayern full back Laimer replacing Alphonso Davies, while PSG midfielder Fabián Ruiz came in for the injured Achraf Hakimi as Warren Zaïre-Emery dropped back into defence.
The hosts, wearing their new kit for next season, were caught cold in just the third minute by Georgia magician Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé as the defensive frailties that have been on show in recent weeks were again exposed. New man Laimer was out of position.
Bayern had a few sniffs in the first half through Luis Díaz, Michael Olise and Jamal Musiala, but PSG's defence used all the nous learnt from winning the trophy last season to snuff them out.
The drama involving the referee then distracted Bayern as the half wore on and Neves had a header tipped wide by home keeper Manuel Neuer at the other end.
Bayern ran out of steam and ideas in the second period as the Parisians threatened a second on the counter. Kane's smash into the top corner came out of nowhere and there was no time left for the second goal Bayern needed for extra time.
Bayern captain Neuer, whose side have lost their last six two-legged semi-finals in the Champions League given 2020 was one leg, said: "Our goal was unfortunately a bit too late. A key moment was missing for us in the game."
Arsenal, who topped the league phase and are still unbeaten in this season's Champions League, edged Atlético Madrid 1-0 at home in Tuesday's semi-final second leg for a 2-1 aggregate success.
