PSG's priority in attack, Julian Alvarez, could arrive in the French capital at a coherent price thanks to two unwanted players in the Parisian squad.
Valued at $164 million by Atletico Madrid, Alvarez is a very expensive target for PSG. The capital club has not spent such a sum for a single player in an eternity, which is why the trail of the Argentine international has surprised in recent days.
Luis Campos has a well-crafted plan to secure the former Manchester City striker at a price much more in line with PSG's recent transfer-market spending.
Also monitored by Barcelona and other big European clubs ahead of the next transfer window, Alvarez could be at the heart of a transaction involving several players between Paris and Atletico Madrid, according to information from AS.
The Spanish outlet reports that PSG will propose to the Colchoneros that they include Kang-in Lee and Goncalo Ramos in the deal to lower the price of Alvarez.
It would not be a direct swap but rather several separate transfers, which would still allow Campos to convince the Madrid management to make a gesture on the Argentine's price.
PSG hopes that, thanks to this technique, the Argentine international could arrive for $109 million, net of the sales of Lee and Ramos. A solution that could suit Paris with a lower expenditure than the initial $164 million demanded by Atletico Madrid.
The Colchoneros could also find satisfaction with this deal since the Spanish club has long courted Lee. Indeed, the South Korean has been in the sights of the current 4th-place team in La Liga for more than a year.

Ramos is also among the players Diego Simeone has followed for several months. In this sense, a deal involving Ramos, Alvarez, and Lee is likely to make all parties happy. It remains to be seen whether this disguised three-way swap will materialize during the next summer transfer window.
