Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a new challenge on May 30, as the Champions League final will take place, a match against Arsenal.
The Parisians had two matches in the Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich that left everyone impressed, especially in the first leg; the intensity with which both teams played was paralyzing for all the soccer fans.
With the score in their favor, PSG added another goal in the second leg, and although Bayern Munich also scored one more at the last moment, it was not enough to hurt them, securing the victory for the French club.
After this interesting victory, Les Rouge et Bleu are preparing for the final, and everyone is so happy to be finalists once again that the club's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has decided to give a gift to the club's employees.
According to Le Parisien, the president has decided, just like last year, to invite the PSG family to the final in Hungary. About 500 employees will witness the match completely free of charge.
A source close to the club said the decision reflects the club's desire to recognize everyone who makes it possible to be in the final again.
"This initiative reflects the club's desire to recognize the commitment and professionalism of all its employees. They contribute daily to the success and prestige of Paris Saint-Germain," the source said.
Al-Khelaifi also said in an interview with Canal+ that he is very happy and proud of the players because, even when some felt so tired they could no longer continue, they kept fighting until the last minute of the match.
The Champions League final featuring PSG is scheduled for May 30.
