Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina have been voted into the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame for the 2026 class. Both players are celebrated for their significant contributions to the team's history and multiple World Series victories.
ST. LOUIS — Two of the most iconic ballplayers in team team history have been selected to the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame.
The team announced Friday that Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina have been voted into the 2026 Hall of Fame class by fans, further immortalizing their places among the organization’s all-time greats.
Pujols, widely debated as one of the best right-handed power hitters in baseball history, spent the majority of his career here in St. Louis. The three-time National League MVP was an 11-time All-Star with the Cardinals and finished with 703 home runs, fourth most in MLB history. He was also key in the team’s World Series wins in 2006 and 2011.
Molina, spending his 19-year career with the Cardinals behind the plate, built a reputation as one of the best defensive catchers of all time. A 10-time All-Star, Molina won nine Gold Glove Awards and was vital in guiding the Cardinals’ pitching staff during multiple postseason runs, and two World Series titles as well.

Also selected into the 2026 Cardinals Hall of Fame was Bill Sherdel, a left-handed pitcher who played for the Cardinals from 1918 to 1930, and again in 1932. Sherdel was chosen by the team’s Red Ribbon Committee, which considers players from earlier eras.
The three will be formally inducted during ceremonies later this season.
